In the OR

Hazel was just taken into the OR a few minutes ago. The surgeon said that anesthesia will take about an hour to get set up and then he can begin. They gave her some sleepy juice before wheeling her in and she got the best giggles in the world! That made it so much easier for us to say goodbye. They told us they will update us frequently, so keep your eye out!

    I found this blog through some other friends who had heard about Hazel because of the pizza and have been reading. I was very excited because I was actually Hazel's nurse during her surgery! I am in this picture :) I have read your whole journey over the last two days and am so happy you all are doing well and Hazel is still her cute, sassy self :) I will be following and praying for continued success and health! -Caitlin
